Kadaň, is a town in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 18,000 inhabitants. The town lies on the banks of the river Ohře. Kadaň is a tourist centre with highlights being the Franciscan Monastery and the historical square with late Gothic Town Hall Tower.
